报告人简介:

       张鹏教授本科毕业于四川大学数学系,博士毕业于中国科学技术大学数学系。现任上海大学应用数学和力学研究所全职教授,博士生导师。主要从事流体力学的研究,在CFD基础理论研究方面有较深的造诣,研究领域包括:双曲守恒律方程理论及其应用、交通流数学和数值计算理论。先后在《Transportation Science》、《Transportation Research Part B》、《Journal of Computational Physics》、《SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics》、《European Journal of Applied Mathematics》、《Numerical Methods in Partial Differential Equations》、《Physical Review E》、《Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering》等著名期刊发表SCI学术论文40多篇。


报告简介

      Assignment of the flow rates at a junction is the key point for macroscopic modeling and simulation of traffic flow on a road network, which is known as the Junction Riemann problem (JRP). This paper revisits the JRP in both the LWR and CHO models, by maximizing an arbitrarily given linear convex combination of the incoming flows. In the former case, the Riemann solver is an extension of that in Coclite et al. (2005), in which case the sum of incoming flows is maximized. In the latter case, the Riemann solver is derived from that in the LWR model by taking the advantage of being “highly consistent” between the two models, and is an extension of that in Lin et al. (2015). These Riemann solvers should indicate much flexibility for comparison with observed data.
